The fresh food side is warm but the freezer is still hard. What does that mean?
On built-in Sub-Zero units the two compartments run on separate sealed systems, so a warm fresh food side with a solid freezer points at that circuit alone — usually its evaporator fan, a defrost fault or a drifting thermistor. It is a repair, not a replacement conversation.
Frost keeps rebuilding inside, and Denver air is dry. Is that odd?
It is a useful clue. With so little moisture in the room air, frost that keeps returning is rarely humidity finding its way in — it is a door seal letting warm air past, or a defrost circuit that has stopped clearing the evaporator on schedule.
Do you work on integrated and panel-ready columns?
Yes — 600 and 700 series built-ins, integrated IT columns, undercounter units and wine storage. Panel-ready installations come out of the cabinetry and go back without a mark; in a Golden Triangle galley kitchen that is most of the skill.
What does the visit cost?
A flat $89 service call covers the trip and the full diagnosis, and it comes off the total if you approve the repair. You get the number for parts and labour before anything is opened up.
Our ice is cloudy and the cubes stick together. Is that the water?
Often, partly. City water leaves scale on the fill cup and the mould, which slows the harvest and fuses cubes into a lump. Descaling and a filter change fix a good share of it; the rest is fill pressure, a tired inlet valve or a bin sensor reading through a film.
When can someone actually come out?

- 2 Move anything you cannot replace into a cooler with ice, not into the freezer side.
- 3 Pull the lower grille and look for dust packed across the condenser — that alone accounts for a lot of warm-cabinet calls.
- 4 Do not unplug it for a few hours to reset it. It melts the evidence and the fault returns two days later.
